Born in 1986 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, I currently live near Rotterdam in The Netherlands since 1997. I have studied IT and that is also my profession but my main passion is photography. I strive to tell stories with my work and I try to invoke a moment of contemplation in my audience.

I love to photograph people because every person is an ocean of stories and emotions waiting to be uncovered. And for the same reason I also love urban exploration, as old abandoned buildings have many stories to tell.

Recently I have developed a more conceptual approach to photography. I love to diminish the border between the surreal and the real world.
