When you trade in all your rainy days for one tsunami wave when even honesty seems so cliche it takes one brave set of lungs to scream out what you understate
I know there's more to this world than simply space and time for I sense a world of wonder lying behind this doubting mind
It's in little things, like words and deeds like things you know, yet need to hear waiting a moment to hold the door or wiping away one single tear
More than the earth on which I lie and more than the air I breathe I need her embrace so gentle but with a strength to make my heart skip a beat
I'm certain she's calling me but I am already there even when nothing has changed it seems the easier it gets to say the faster all its meaning goes away like a long conversation on a short winter day
