In a stone wall
two windows are imprisoned
one lonely
the other tired
One is you
the other is me

A wall of black stone
hard, cold and harsh
silences us with its cold
imprisons us with its strength

Under the weight of these rocks
our love story is the story of this wall
there's always been
a distance between us
like this has been our days and nights
we're not far apart
but far enough to be apart

our only contact we can thank
to the gentle breeze

prisoners we are
as long as we live
freedom is our death
death is our freedom

Wish this wall would fall
and we both died
so we could walk hand in hand
in another world
maybe then
there would be no hatred
and no stones between the windows

wish this wall would fall
and we both died
so we could be happy
in another world
